Some of what it takes to be a great nurse, like boundless empathy or tireless energy, cannot be taught. Increasingly, though, employers expect registered nurses (RNs) to have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. While these bachelor鈥檚 programs introduce leadership, communication and technical skills, they also equip nurses to excel to achieve an even more important goal: Studies show .

Georgia Southern鈥檚 RN to BSN program delivers the additional knowledge, skills and attitude registered nurses need to serve patients in today鈥檚 demanding and complex health care environment 鈥 and earn the higher pay that comes with a BSN designation.
