About Us
Student-Athlete Services is dedicated to empowering student-athletes to excel both academically and personally. Through comprehensive support, including academic advising, tutoring and mentoring, we aim to cultivate career-ready individuals equipped with the skills and knowledge to succeed beyond graduation. Our mission is to foster a holistic environment that supports lifelong learning and ensures student-athletes achieve their academic goals.
Core Values
- Integrity: Everything we do in Student-Athlete Services is built on the foundation of integrity. In an ever-changing higher education landscape, we can always point to our core value of integrity to guide us in any decision or situation. Doing the right thing by the student and University guides our department.
- Teamwork: Working as a team in our department as well as building bridges across campus is vital for the success of our student-athletes. Just like how our athletes need to be a cohesive team on their field of play, Student-Athlete Services needs to be united to best support the students.
- Academic Excellence: Excellence looks different for every student, but following our mission to empower our students with our support system, helping our students achieve their academic goals and excel in the classroom is vital.
- Responsibility: Of the many things we aim to instill in our students, responsibility and accountability are at the forefront. Taking responsibility for their own academics, realizing that while great support may be around them, it is ultimately the student who is responsible for their own journey.
- Student-Centered: As a customer-service oriented organization, providing the best service to our students is how we best serve them. At the heart of all the decisions we make, our students and their success is the only thing that matters.
